Akeem Echols and Corey Scott have been named Co-Players of the Week for their Week 2 performances. Echols led the Lightning (2-0) to a 68-56 victory over Swoosh Gang (0-2) scoring 24 points, snatching down 8 rebounds, picking pockets to the count of 5 steals, and even dished out 4 assists. Echols performance also led to him being named Defensive Player of the Week. Scott led the Bears (2-0) to a 47-41 victory over the Knights (1-1) with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Both players will lead their respective squads into battle against each other this Sunday at 8:45 PM.
